ATTENTION TO DETAIL
or something not very much like it

As of November 2002, I had been meaning to start the website for quite a while -- so long, in fact, that I was starting to feel guilty for not having done it yet. I knew that most of the Ross-dot-something sites were taken, but a friend had pointed out that AcousticRoss.com was available. I wasn't officially using that name yet, but I was close, and decided that was going to be the address whenever I got my web act in gear.

One night that November I ran into that girl again at that bar, and again I was talking about the website excitedly.

So excitedly, it turns out, that I decided finally putting the site together was a good way to reach her in the near future -- the old 'check out my site (which features my email address which you should use to drop me a line)' trick.

So when I got home -- late -- I jumped right online and registered AcousticRoss.com.

At least, that's what I thought I did. At the end of the registration process, I got the email confirmation from the service I'd used, and there it was. Turns out I had been a little sloppy in my typing way back in Step Number 1 of the registration process.

And so, I was now the proud owner, at least until November 2003, of www.acoutsicross.com.
