BAD NEWS: The BLIZZARD BLUE release party has been canceled. It's a long story.

GOOD NEWS: The show in Columbia, MO is still on this Friday. I'm completely psyched to finally be on the bill with my good friends namelessnumberheadman, and if you're anywhere near central Missouri on Friday, you really should swing by. Details on the shows page.

GOODER NEWS: The other show mentioned below -- the THREE HEADED MONSTER, also featuring the Free Beer Band & the Engine Hearts -- is also still on.

EVEN GOODER NEWS: The new EP is finally coming out very soon. It'll be worth the wait, I promise.

EVEN MORE GOODER NEWS: Lots of site updates recently, mainly in the X-Rays and Sounds regions, but in other hemispheres as well. Have a beverage. Take a look around. Enjoy yourself.

News from 1/14/04

We got us some SHOWS right here, bucko. Three big shows, coming your way very soon:

    -- Friday January 30 -- we're making the trek to Columbia, Missouri, where I finally get to share a bill with my good friends namelessnumberheadman. The middle bit is a recursive-loop type guy called Stendek, and the whole thing oughta be a blast. If you or anyone you know is anywhere near Columbia on the 30th, by all means head on over.

    -- Friday February 13 -- BLIZZARD BLUE #1 CD release party at Bob's. (That new place next to the Cain's, dontchaknow.) Blizzard Blue is a great new compilation from Tulsa's Yawn Records, and the release party should be a hoot. Also on the comp and on the bill are HotrodboB, DDS, and the Tony Romanello Band.

    -- Saturday February 21 -- The THREE HEADED MONSTER. Me, The Free Beer Band, and The Engine Hearts, all on one stage, all at the same time. There are no rules. Beverages will be consumed, booties will be shaken, butts will be kicked, broken hearts will be mended. This promises to be a riot.

So there you go: a blast, a hoot, and a riot. Not a bad start for the year.

(But just wait till you see what else we've got in store.)
